Ill make a WIP thread once I get my 2x72 set up. Done using that 1x42.
 
If I realy had to critique I could say a thong hole in the handle.
But I also like it the way you've planned it now.
 
Looks nice! Personnally, I'd try to bring the handle as close as possible to the plunge line, but it's just me.
 
Made a pattern from a piece of mild steel to get a better idea plunge was moved a bit closer. I drilled for 3 pins but i think I'm going to only use 2

That looks great! The only thing I would change is to maybe angle the handle down a degree or two. It looks a little too straight for my tastes. But only just a tiny bit.
 
I would drill some more holes in the tang as well. Even with a tapered tang, a knife with that short/narrow of a blade can be awful handle-heavy by the time you put scales on it.
