I was struck by the similarities between my Condor Kephart and Schrade SHTF42. Both were designed by experienced users, as Griffin demonstrates in his post on here; https://bladeforums.com/threads/schrade-schf42-raven-how-it-came-to-be.1604258/.
The Condor is in 1075 steel vs the Schrade 1095, and the Condor has a thinner blade, so is somewhat lighter.
Maybe their similarity in design by woodsmen about a hundred years apart is another example of the effectiveness of this type design for a working knife.
