New design-EDC and combat Dao

The design arc, from traditional style HuDie Dao, to EDC to full size fighter

EDC and fighter, textured black gavrolite scales. EDC is differential tempered 1095, fighter is differential hardened 1084. Both are fully distal tapered in tang and blade.

POB on the fighter is 3/4" in front of the finger cutout-far enough back to be quick but not enough to lose momentum. 8" blade.

The drop in the handle is a nice touch...just gives it better flow!

I really like the traditional Dao. It's like a Tanto meets a Bowie, with some Fairbairn-Sykes thrown in.

Even the traditional build has a little drop to it-the originals I've seen of these don't. Just works better, to me.
