New Design – Never Offered Before
Panuti Farmer Special Knife by Vim Kami

You all might remember that last September, on my trip to Nepal, I visited Sgt. Khadka at his home in the Village of Panuti.

While I was there, I saw a very sharp knife being used by the young men in the village to chop tree limbs. Others were using the same knife to chop wood for their households. The way they used that knife to get the job done was so amazing and impressive that I didn't forget it.

I knew I had to have it for my customers and friends and, a few months ago, I told the Kamis about it. Now I have a shipment of this special and most functional knife from the shop and Kamis to offer you.

That's 10oz heavier than my WWII. I don't know if my girly arms would be up for swingin' that thing around.

That may well be the plainest, most no-nonsense knife design I've ever seen! It's as if someone took the simplest shapes from a butcher knife and a sushi knife, and blended them together!

Anyone ever seen those Swedish Surplus Kindling Axes that were available a few months ago? Just like these beauties. Classic designs are everywhere, it seems.

Can we say F U N C T I O N A L?

;)

I would LOVE that piece even More if the tip were made with an "American" Tanto tip!
Oh Yah, that would be enough to liquidate a projectile launcher for.

Thank you, guys. I thought it looked Japanese. Even the handle looks Japanese. A simple, clean, effective design.

If it were beveled/sharpened on one side only it would be suitable for use by a very large sushi chef.

It also looks similar to a Kaku Nakiri vegetable knife. Much thicker blade on the Panuti, of course. That looks like it has the potential to be an awesome chuck box knife. Slice and dice, shave wood to get the fire going, shave your face before dinner.

Hey All!!
What WOULD one of these look like with a Tanto Tip?
Anybody good at doing a Draft-type of drawing here so's we could take a gander at it?
Thx, Doc
