Here is my current collection of GSO knives:

I have not purchased a Survive! knife in some time now, and I see that on the website specifications have changed, even on the GSO 4.1, 5.1, 7/7 and 10, all of which I have the older models. The GSO 10 blade has grown from 3/16 (0.1875) to 0.200. The GSO 7/7 shrunk from 3/16" to 0.180", and the 5.1 has shrunk slightly from 3/16" to 0.850". The GSO 4.1 I thought was 5/32" or 0.156", and is now 0.160". I know that there has been a handle re-design, and old scales will be going out of production. I have a lot of catching up to do, so I am wondering if there are some discussions here that y'all can point me to describing these changes in design. The steel width might just be as simple as a different supplier, but I don't know for sure. Any assistance as to the thought processes behind these design changes would be greatly appreciated.
