This is the "Loap". I think the name fits well and
should keep it from being confused with anything else.
It'll come from 1095 carbon steel rods and have 1018 steel fittings.
I'll do at least one in full sword length.
The handles will be wrapped in fine 2/3 oz. goat skins.

I should have blanks ready for builds next week.
Hopefully Loap # 1 will be available by next weekend.

#1 is 22" OA. but may loose a little in finishing.
Shooting for a 16" blade but you know how that goes.
I'm still working my handle jig for the design but
should have that done tonight.
The goat skin is cut and waiting. I hate to bury
curly maple under a wrap but that's what I have
in largest amounts. I may go with oak though.

When I post #1, I'll take orders on the remaining
blanks (to be finished out by me).
