Hi all,

In honor of my new digicam and since you all seemed to like looking at my last sheath, here's another. This one's for my PD and my favorite so far. IWB carry only. Anyone have tips for a better G-clip? I can't figure out how to make the back of the clip flat and still form the inner lip.

Chief,
Nice looking sheath and those pics aren't bad either. Looks like you've got the hang of making sheaths and taking pics. :D:D

 Man, that is great!!

You are learning very quickly!! Great job man!

Could you elaborate a bit on the G-clip thing? I don't know exactly what you feel you're doing wrong?

Thanks, everyone.

I guess the problem I'm having with the G-clip is the flat part closest to the sheath. Well, it's supposed to be flat, but I can't figure out how to make it that way:) I think I need another piece of metal stock to form the small lip???

Chief,

Methinks you're being too picky! Those look awesome! Especially the Tali-Whacker sheath! Great, no grand job!

Cheers,
BJB :D

Chief, Lookin' Good!!

IMHO the best IWB connector for a sheath is a Pull-Dot strap from Blade-Tech screwed into an eyelet on your sheath. They come $10/pair and the rubber outer material is very nicely grippy on your belt.

For some info on forming G-clips see Jens Anso's fine kydex sheath tutorial here:

HTH and keep up the fine work. Thx for the pics,
Greg

Hey, thanks for the links. I'm off to check them out.

I'd go with the loop, except sometimes I don't wear a belt. That's sorta why I need the G-clip.
