Here's a pic of my "heat-treater" (I just noticed it's leaning a bit)

Knife I'm working on -- (it's out of focus, but I took it this morning, and I'm new at this digital stuff :D )

It's called the Fugly Skinner (you'll see why).

Sorry, but I like the fugly skinner. Looks very useable to me. I also like the tanto blade a lot too. Bring that blade to Springfield this weekend; I want to see it up close.

Will do -- you could bring some o' them Blade buys for me to drool over if you want too. :D

I'm just down the road and I've got to ask what kind of nozzle jet you have under the brick on the heat treater?

It doesn't help the neighbor lady has a truckload of firebrick left over that she would give me. And I dug mine up from an old boiler site.

I've got a fish/turkey fryer burner sunk in the sand.

BTW -- since you live near Springfield, there's a knife show at the Fairgrounds this weekend in case you didn't already know.
