well it was not as easy as i hoped and
i had to do a several start overs
but here is the new display wall(s) i was
trying to get done in time for atlanta
((please pardon the mess as i an still in a hurry
with other aspects of this project))

click pict

i have 'wall & shelf" enough to do 16 feet of table..
each is light enough to carry one under each arm
i re did the cabinets and made 6 more
each of the cabinets now hold only 18 knives
instead of the 26 that the one shown holds
i did not take picts of them in construction as
they are like the ones i posted before..

Beautiful Dave, :thumbup::thumbup:
What did you use for "padding" behind the knives and how are they held in place. I need to build some cases for mine, but I wasn't sure what to use behind them and how to hold them in place.

humm .. here are the picts from the other post on how i did the cabinets
it is a rigid foam i got at wally world school crafts section..

i have bult 6 more cases from what i had cut to that size
the cases are of the same wood as the others
the new wall sections are 4 feet long and i have 4 of them done
16 feet of display at this time.
and i used stronger magnets then before
and useing the smaller ones were tags will be...
made som important changes to each cab..

i over heard some one at the Maryland show say
"they are so close together it is hard to look at jest one"
and another over heard comment was
" .. display is nice but rather busy there are so many.."

so for the the six new ones i have reduced the number of knives
in each case from 26 to 18 and have space for tags ..

the white burlap 'backing' is harder to attach then i thought it would be

Hi Dave,

Looking very nice, are you going to place some Buck stuff in the open space on your walls? Maybe a banner at the top that reads some thing like "Dave's 110 wall of fame". Good luck at the show, have fun and snap lots of photo's for us ;)

the caption for the display is to be:

BUCK'S ART AND SOUL
CAST IN STEEL AND GOLD

that is if i get off this dang machine and get it done!

Well done Bro! Battery powered lights stuck under the overhang might work to kill the ' shadows' effect
