roknjs,A lucky number of fazzoles! (beans)

Thanks for the replies and comments.I believe it has titanium liners,it is a liner lock.It is much thicker in constuction, than an older model that I have. The backspacer looks as if it is carbon fiber,or micarta,it is black.Pocket clip on the other side. It's sweet, for sure.

TKC,Thanks, any body got a whim to get a Dozier folder,go see Jon,
www.ebosshoss.com I think he may lust have a few more!!

Jon (EbossHoss) was the first one at the table at the NY show that just concluded today. And added an Ivory and a Mammoth Folding Hunter to his exquisite collection. Vince, stunning folder! Did we miss each other somehow at the show? Perhaps I walked away from the Dozier table for a short while?

No,Nakano,I could not make it,I would have made a piont to say Hi. Thanks to Jon,though,I filled a gap,in what seemed to be impossible pursuit.A 3-1/2" carbon fiber trapper, rounds off my collection ,temporarily,of course.I have 2 on order, from Bob,but It'll be some time, before I get that call.I'm sorry I couldn't make the show,Thanks,Vince

Here's my so-so picture of the Trapper.

These are a standard and large made of the same piece of bark cut at different depths. Notice the back spacer on the darker knife, that's something Bob hasn't done before, he typically uses a bland piece for the spacer. I got one from Jon and one from Bob in NY this weekend.... :D

PS Your white one is fantastic!! I also like the green micarta, oh, and the carbon fiber, oh, and I almost forgot, the ironwood....:o

xuesheng,Very nice knives,I love that backspacer!I have an older DKFH,Root Beer Jig Bone, that has an Ivory backspacer, makes for a nice contrast.

Great looking knife, but then again, all Bob's knives look great to me.

Again, I agree with Keith! Mr. Dozier does NOT have a knife that I don't like!

I know my picture of the Trapper stinks, but that knife is unbelievable. The feel in the hand! It's super smooth open-close,locks up like a vault. It is a Tank, nice blade style ,too!

WOW Vince, Love the Ivory one, I don't reckon any chance of that taking a trip to Texas? Just a thought. Both of them look Excellent, but I Love the Ivory, Man that is Classy.

Such beautiful knives should not be sullied with a pocket clip!
:ducking:

They are all awesome, even with the clips ;)

Is that Ivory or Ivory Micarta on your knife? The white coloration and lack of grain tends to make me think it's Ivory Micarta. Either way, nice looking Folding Hunter model. I too, have recently noticed that Bob has used the same material as on the scales for the back spacer ala the Mammoth Bark as you discussed.
