Hi,

I've been waiting in eager aniticipation for a few months for this... and of course, it was very much worth it! :) (sorry for the shadows... I took the pics as soon as I opened the package, late today when the sun was low)

I requested that the stag scales be left as "rough" as possible, and Linda mentioned that Bob would be able to work from the inner surface to achieve appropriate thickness and symmetry, leaving the outer rough surface as intact as possible.

I'm amazed at the quality of workmanship, although not surprised!

Verrrry nice! I like the looks of that folder. My Doziers are all fixed blades, but yours makes me think more about folders.

Lucky bastid! :p That looks great  Do you have the rough dimensions of the knife?

Thanks :)

The blade length is 2.75 inches for the sharpened part, and about 3 inches from tip to the handle. Overall length is 7 inches opened, 4 inches closed.

Sounds like a perfect size user :) Good luck with it and many years of use(if those are the intentions you have). I'm sure the luck part won't be an issue with a Dozier.

That is one terrific knife, congratulations. I have the same model but with burgundy micarta scales, and I love it and use it almost daily (when I'm not carrying a Sebenza or a Ka-Bar Dozier folding hunter (FRN), the best knife you can get for $20).

Use your Dozier in good health,
Johnny

Oooooh, better not let Buzzbait or Phil see this one!

:)

Incredible looking stag. Awesome knife, ya lucky Dawg.

Mmmmm....... Dozier........ Stag..........

It doesn't get much better than that. Surely not at Bob's prices. You've got a real winner there. That's one of those knives that will last a lifetime of good hard use, and look great doing it.

Hi,

Thanks for all of the nice feedback :)

This will be in my pocket daily. I really like the feel of stag, but I only have it on fixed blades that would be impractical to carry around. I bought this so that I can have a nice stag piece with me all the time.

I plan to put it through many years of good use :D

Man, that's a nice piece. I can't wait till Blade, Bob's table is the first place I plan on going to. I'm hoping he has someting as nice as that on his table.

That is one beautiful knife! Although I've taken a hiatus from the high-end, that kind of folder could get me spending again! :)

gorgeous knife, stag is my favorite handle material and those scales are outstanding. congrats!

Saberman, I don't doubt that he will. His table was LOADED with great knives last year and I didn't make it there until Saturday afternoon. He was set up along the far right wall then (as you enter the room) if you still want to try to beat the crowd to it.
