new Dragonfly coming?

Has anyone heard about whether there will be an updated lightweight Dragonfly with the new wire clip?

I have a couple of Calys and Kopas, but still would like to have a nice lightweight (<2 oz.) FFG Spyderco. The G-10 Dragonfly looks great, but I'd be even more interested in either a slim CF version (like the Caly 3 CF), or a very basic FRN model.

I'd also love a lighter weight gent's folder similar to the very nice, but dense and heavy, Kopa. I'm not holding my breath on that one, though.
 
I have heard it was coming but I dont know any real details. This is one I cant wait to get my hands on.
 
Yep. I can't remember where the thread is, I think it's on the Spyderco Forums, where Sal was asking for input on Dragonfly ideas. IIRC he's going with a FRN handle, no liners, wire pocket clip and VG10 steel. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. As for release dates, I can't recall if he mentioned when they'll be shipping.

That's what I was thinking I'd heard, too, but couldn't find any confirmation. Sounds like a good affordable combination to me.

I'd also be interested in a slightly more svelte version in CF, similar to the Walker, though it would obviously be more expensive. VG-10 is great, but ZDP would be even better.
