Hey guys,

I was wondering what your guys thoughts were on the new Drop / Gareth Bull knife that’s coming soonish.

I think it looks absolutely beautiful with the rosewood scales but I can’t stand the wait times from Drop especially when shipping to Canada.

Cheers,

It looks cool, but I'm not sure I wanna wait either. Maybe.

I’m really digging that blade profile. I do agree about the rosewood scales, I prefer them to the carbon fiber. It really fits with the overall aesthetic. I may have to keep an eye on this one.

Gareth Bull? You mean that shady fella that has threads about him here, discussing how he doesn’t take care of his customers?

Yeah, hard pass on that one for me...
Yeah that gave me pause too.

I believe the knife is manufactured by WE so I assumed they would deal with the warranty work.

I could be wrong on that though.

Business issues with Bull aside, I'm a bit puzzled by this model's blade geometry. The Gareth Bull Miura blade has the shape of a pry bar, yet is 3.2"/81mm long. I doubt I would use a 3-inch folder as a lever. Or any folder for that matter. I guess flat grind drop points and spear points have flooded the market and this is an attempt at being different. I'll pass on this one.
