New DT RC-4 and DT Izula

Well I received my RC-4 and Izula in the mail on Thursday and have been fiddling around with a different carry option. I think im going to give this combo carry a run this weekend and see how it does with the molle clips. I'm really digging the scales on the Izula.

I also found my cheapy case logic camera case that has room for two tins. Now I need to fill my tins with supplies.

Very nice. I used to live in AZ too. If I still lived there I would be all over the DT knives, but it just looks out of place here.
 
Looks good. I'd almost feel bad about taking them out and beating the coating off them.....almost. :D
 
Really gotta get some scales for me and the wifes Izulas.Sweet setup you have there!

Good choices!:thumbup: Those two knives can handle a ton of tasks. Congratulations!
 
Cool setup, Deeds! How is it actually carried?
On MOLLE gear? Horizontal? Vertical? Inverted?

I like the case logic pouch, too. Now I can't go into a store without looking at bags and pouches like this without wondering about the potential...
 
Sweet! I have a DT RC-4S, and a DT Izula...this is making me want handle scales for the Izula!

I currently just have the molle back on the RC-4 so it could be used on molle gear. I was carrying it around on my belt ,vertical, so it works there. I'm looking to make a drop leg extender so it rides a bit lower.

I have an OD green Izula with a paracord wrap and the scales make the DT Izula feel like an entirely different knife. I added a knot on the paracord wrap to add some length to the handle and it feels really good. The width of the scales makes up for shorter handle.
