My first one came in yesterday, Circle C Kentucky Bluegrass bone...

I expected it to be solid green like the one pictured at the dealer, but after initial diapointment that it wasn't what I expected; The disapointment wasn't real; I realized I love it... great color blending and shades. Reminds me of green apaloosa bone I wanted once but couldn't get..

My around the house knife is a SAK classic(different model with LED, and pen scales, but same size as a classic), its always plenty of blade in the house, I was afraid this would be too small... imagine my surprise; its longer than the sak; by almost 1/2"! I thought peanuts were smaller...

Showed to my folks yesterday afternoon, had to keep my Mum from adopting it... It would make a nice companion to here Jade copperlock I gave her. She likes the feel and main blade shape. And my Dad would like one too, he likes the smaller knives for carry, but doesn't have one right now to carry... Although he wouldn't accept this one... There's my Christmas shopping made easy. ;)

It got used not long after it arrived, the factory sharp pen blade to help re-open a cut I have on my hand, its infected and needed cleaned out.. nice sharp little blade made a nice scalpel. Main blade was a nice point for cleaning grease from my fingernails on my way to work last night.... Small tasks, nothing earth shattering, but I can see keeping it as EDC for a while.

It handles nice, doesn't feel that small in use.

It almost seems 1/2 the posts here are about peanuts... Thank you for the motivation folks!

Here is its companion for now, that it traveled, and arrived with, Shepard Hills exclusive 1 of 100 cotton candy bone Russlock.

Had the same false disapointment that the color was lighter than I expected, but its gorgeous too! wouldn't have wanted it any different... I've wanted one of the cotton candy bone pieces for a while now, and this was a splurge on my part, before they are gone..

I hate liner locks in general use, but have not carried one much... We'll see how I get along with this one. If its a problem, there is a fellow I've been wanting to get some folder mods done by anyway(muskrat man). I'll send it off for lock removal, and some file work.

They will be my EDC pair for a while now.
