Looking to pick up a new blade eventually, I realized that the Spartan isn't that good of an EDC blade.
So I've come here to ask for some suggestions.
I'd like a couple of things,
Big(ish) blade
Assisted/wave open (not really a deal breaker)
Price point is open as well. Well within reason. Maybe up to $200

That's pretty much it. I'm open to any and all suggestions.
Thanks.

Ive been carrying my benchmade 790 subrosa. Im really liking it, s30v blade, titanium handles, assisted opener, thin, light, just enough recurve for my liking. Knifeworks has em for I think 150$ might be worth checking out.

spyderco tenacious resilience, manix 2
kershaw tension, cryo,
boker Mag. Bull dog (personal >$30 fave.)
benchmade grip.

$212 actually, but that's also a good suggestion. I was also looking at the Griptilian.

I've got some expensive knives that I collected over the years but now I've discovered Opinel and I'm loving it! They are inexpensive, can be acquired with different premium wood handles, and they look great for the price. I just started EDC a carbon No. 8 knife. It is well worth the price ($12).

I have a ZT 560, and I'm absolutely loving it. It has excellent steel (ELMAX), great ergonomics, a superb blade shape and grind, very fast opening (just as fast as assisted), and it looks great. I got mine for under $200, and at 3.75 inches it's definitely a large folder. It's the best knife I've ever handled.

For the $200 range you have A LOT of diff knives to choose from.

But I HIGHLY suggest you take a look at Zero Tolerance(ZT), like a few have already mentioned.

A few choices to look at from ZT.....

0200
0350
0550
0560

Those right there are all amazing knives and all under $200.

Then I would suggest looking at some Benchmade Knives as well.

It all comes down to personal preference on what styles you like best.

Spyderco Tuff, you can find one right around $200 or just a few bucks over.
It's not waved or assisted. But, you should check it out.
It's a 3V beast.
