I've been EDCing a Sebenza 21 for 7 years now. I got a hankering to try a Titanium frame lock flipper with ball bearing action. Anybody have an idea what I'll be happy with?

You carry a small or large 21?
What's your budget?

Try this arcform slimfoot the knife is amazing. It's produced by reate for arcform. I bought mine off the exchange and so glad I pulled the pin.
The blade slices so well and the knife feels great in the hand. I been carrying it for about a month now using it all the time no hot spots and the blade stays super sharp. It flips really well and is super smooth.

Small: ZT 0450 (or 0450CF)
Medium: Brad Southard Avo, Liong Mah Lanny’s Clip
Large: Bastinelli Safe, Shirogorov F3/Hati/F95

Edit: Love that Arcform too...any Reate would fit nicely.

Try the Spyderco Southard. Smooth flipper w/o bearings. Excellent steel. Nice size for general edc.

Basically any ZT framelock with ball bearings, in particular ZT 0562 or 0562cf, ZT 0452cf, and ZT 0801. If you dont mind dlc, ZT 0804 (on sale).

If your budget can be up a bit, Reate Horizon D.

Kizer Gemini? Ursa Minor? Intrepid/Mini Intrepid? If you don't mind the weight the ZT801 is pretty great. The new Giant Mouse GM3 is nice and classy...

Definitely consider the ZT0450 or ZT0900. If you can do without the bearings, look into a Hinderer Half Track or XM-18 3". They both flip great.

My Sebenza is the large 21 plain w/o the Idaho Made stamp. Thank you all for the recommendations. I couldn't decide on small, medium or large so I ordered 2 knives, The ZT 0450 and the Lionsteel SR11 in Ti. I know the Sr11 is a hand full but that's not an issue with me. I have an SR1 Ti and would carry it more if it was easier to deploy. The SR11 is just that. I do admire the Lionsteel integral handle design and their fit and finish. I'll be shocked if the ZT 0450 wins me over, but it looks very refined for a ZT. We'll see how it goes.

Not trying to rain on the parade but seeing as you're used the the Large 21(I own one as well), you'll most likely not enjoy the ZT0450. I tried it and sold the knife shortly after simply due to the knife having no real estate at all. Guess it just depends on the person though. Other than that, a great little knife.

I enjoy my large 21 Insingo and my ZT 0450. Different strokes for different knives.

No doubt my man! It's okay I sold it to a co-worker who doesn't own a knife sharpening system so every month or so I get to enjoy the knife for what it is, the couple hours that I have it at least lol.

My apologies as my recommendation was based on you having the Small Sebenza. I read it quickly and could have sworn I read small in the Original Post. I will hope you will chime back in here when they come in. I will be interested in your thoughts on the 450 based on the love of the Large Sebenza. Just another option to consider for the future, check out the Southern Grind Penguin. Roughly the same size as the Large Sebenza, slimmer in the pocket, on bearings and flips great.

Hope you enjoy your new knives!

One more on the way.
WE Knife Co. 702A Integral Frame Lock Knife Gray Titanium (3.9" Hand Satin)
It will be my first China made knife.

My suggestion would have been the Olamic 247. It might have been the only one you needed. Current production XM's are also great, but in a "different" sort of a way. No matter how many others develop infatuations for, the CRK's and XM18's (and 24) always end up back in pocket.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the WE you ordered.
They do a great job!
Enjoy, and let us know how you like your new knives!
Joe

The Lionsteel SR-11 has arrived. Flawless, exquisite craftsmanship. Hefty Ti, feels great. A real meat hog.

How many ZTs have you handled? I believe you'll be pleased with them. I'm surprised you chose the SR11 given your CRK reference. It seems like everyone buys the Tre. Either way, you have some very solid recommendations here, and indirectly renewed my interest in Lionsteel. Exactly what my wallet needed right now, thanks. LOL

My new Southard is beautiful but won't flip well without a wrist flip. Don't like that; others may be okay.
My favorite is the Brad Southard AVO...I carried one for two yrs; got bored, sold it.
