New EDC - i betrayed myself!

Hello guys,

I have to apologize to you good folks around here because i betrayed myself!!
Almost a year ago i posted up a thread about the disapointment i had when i bought my first Strider, a PT to be exact.
I said that i would never ever buy a Strider again because of the lock issues i had but, in my defense, i always said that i still liked the design of Striders in general:)
Well, look what showed up to my door yesterday:

That's right, it's a Strider PT CC:D
How i love this little thing!
Despite the issue with my previous PT, i really missed it! It is a very comfortable knife in hand and the CC model is the one i always wanted to have. I love the slick rounded handle on it.
I'm a fan of stonewashed framelock sides on pocket knives but i have/had so many of them that the flamed titanium is a very cool and refreshing change. I really like it!
This one's rock solid but even if it develops any kind of wigle i will still EDC the sh*t out of it :D
This one was once my grail knife so i'm very happy that i got it. The fact that is discontinued also makes it a little bit more special;)
I know that many on here are not fans of Striders but please be gentle:)

If you're happy with it and it serves your purposes, doesn't matter what anybody's opinion of Strider knives is! Looks like a great knife to me. I've got the Buck/Strider folder and like it a lot. Trying to figure out how to change out the scales, though. That's my only complaint about the Buck version.
 
If you like em you like em. I myself won't buy one of those. They just don't do it for me. I am happy for you though.
 
striders are awesome but If the rumors are true they won't be discontinued much longer, PT's that is.
 
I find myself wanting a cc pt more and more every day. so hard to come by one with out lock issues though.

yeah i feel you.
as i said, this was once my grail knife and i only bought the regular PT because i wasn't able to find the CC version.
i was pretty lucky this time:)
