So, after I posted the Leek Question thread, I have decided that the Leek is not what I need. I also just found out that the family is taking a trip to Tennessee, (and SMKW). My new question is what would be the best option for a decent one-hand opening knife less than $65? Preferably not Chinese in origin. I am currently looking at the Spyderco Delica. What are y'alls opinion?

Check your email Ben. Might be able to help you.

Take a look at the Kershaw Link. You can find them around $40, USA made, with 420hc steel and aluminum handles. Got to hold one in a store about a month ago and it is a very solid feeling knife.

Nice, capable folder. You can find one advertised on the Exchange, NIB, in the section of "Individual - Production knives".
No dogs in the hunt.
Good luck to you.

Any other criteria? Blade length, weight, etc.

I'd take the skyline at that budget over the link at nearly half the weight. The only thing I don't like about the skyline is the way the knife sits in your pocket when carrying tip up.

A lot of good options but if you can narrow down some specifics I think that would help.

What do you find yourself cutting a lot?

But yeah, hard to go wrong with a Delica. They're also totally ambi if you're a lefty.

Delica is a great choice. Cold Steel Hold Out 3 in XHP is going for around that, but it might be a bit over budget. If you dig US made you might also see if they have a Native 4 Lightweight that they're closing out.

I would definitely second the Skyline. It's a little more robust than the Leek, but is also a relatively slender knife. The CRKT Swindle would be another alternative; the swayback shape makes it surprisingly secure in hand, and it shares the same wharncliffe shape as the leek (with slightly thicker blade stock, if tip fragility is a concern.)

Delica was my first... so found memories there. Other good options are

Skyline
Ontario RAT 1 or 2

Skyline is actually a great choice considering your "leek questions", surprised I didn't suggest it there. Same great razor sharp steel, made in USA, just a wee bit thicker then a leek, but a full half an oz. Lighter with a sturdier blade design especially at the tip. I actually carried mine in philly a few weeks ago (super strict knife laws), but wore it inside my waistband behind my belt to help keep it out of plain site. That said, if I can comfortably wear it like that all day, city hiking, I'm sure it will work in the actual pocket on some skinny jeans.

I've carried knives in that manner in similar situations but to do so with a skyline is asking for trouble, IMO. The top of your pants can catch the flipper when you sit and partially open the knife in your pants. JMO, FWIW.

Have to agree with this 100% Great Knife and amazing price!
