New EDC? maybe....Ranger

For a little over a year now I have carried my huntsman plus every day with a handful of exceptions.
I may be considering a change.
I just got a Ranger in the mail and I put some plus scales on it.
I have not had a 5 layer SAK up to this point. The 4 layer has been the thickest I like to carry. 6 is just to much.
The Ranger isn't all that much thicker. I can tell the difference in my hand but it's not way to bulky for me like a 6 layer is.

I do pick up a few more tools. The metal saw. Not sure how much I would use it. I can think of one or two times in the last year I had wished I had it at work, so the next day I would bring in my handyman. Not really a super high desire tool though.

The tool I am most excited about having on my edc is the chisel. It is a great scraper.

Anyone else carry a Ranger? Would also like to hear any thoughts on the Metal saw/file. I realize the thickness is subjective. It does seem to have a good tool to size ratio though.

The Ranger is awesome! Good size, great tool set.

The metal file is excellent!!!! I use it on my nails all the time and it is a very high quality tool...esp the new ones!!!!

I carried one for a while too. Like you mentioned, just a tad bigger than a Huntsman and "more stuff" particularly the dedicated small screwdriver on the back.

Funny this came up. For years a Swisschamp was my only SAK. During that time I used every tool on it except for the back mounted small screwdriver. Just saying. :)
