New EDC: Micro Commander

Well, I was in between a Mini CQC-7 and a Micro Com for a pocket carry. The Micro Com won.
It was hard to find, but I bought one.

The first thing I've noticed was the uber sharp blade. This is my first Emerson and wow. The second thing I noticed was how grippy the G10 is in this knife. I have a ZT 0350 and a couple of Benchmades with G10s and they are not as grippy as this one. Impressed!

The one thing I am not liking quite much is the hole used to open the knife. It's not working really well for me, specially now that the knife is new and the blade pivot is quite tight. But I think I need to get used to it.

I like it so far and I am ordering a full size CQC-15 soon as well.

Thats a sweet knife. You might back off the pivot screw a micron or two and lock-tite it, but it will probably smooth-in and get groovy if you just open it 800 times while watching SportsCenter. I like that knife a lot.

This is the first one I saw in black and I like it alot better! I like the aggressive look of the serations but I can't bring myself to buy a partially serated knife.
