Folks,
I can't get enough of the new Enhanced EDC. ya'll asked for it, we made the changes..the knife is now standard with a 154CM blade, and we added blade accents to set off the new version...the EDC is still may favorite "pocketknife":D
 
Wil, I can't agree with you more. The EDC is one of my favorite carry knives. I had been carrying the Anniversery model (I really liked the black and glod) but have put in in a safe place now that I have one of the new enhanced EDC's. It seems they keep getting better as each new model comes out, this one is tight but easy to open and has none of the blade wiggle when open that my 420HC EDC has. The only think I can see needing now is one in D2.
I doubt much could be done to make the EDC much better but here are the two things I would like to see. First, make it southpaw friendly and allow me to reverse the pocket clip and second, make another model that is slightly larger. The handle would benefit from about another inch of Length and add some length to the blade until its about 3 3/4 inches.

What are the changes to the new EDC other than the blackened screws and the standard 154cm blade? Just curious about other subtle improvements that haven't been mentioned thus far. So far my first edition 154cm EDC has replaced my other folders (that sub-3" blade is perfect for carry in LA) :cool:

Just received it today from 1SKS. Arrived in just two days. As advertised, it is as close to perfect as you are going to get in a production folder, even at double or triple the cost. Camillus knows how to make a KNIFE rather than a Walter Mitty toy or wannabe pocket-ninja sword. They look good, feel good, and, most importantly to me, they WORK. Before anyone takes offense let me admit I have bought my share of useless but 'cool' toys:p .
All the praise aside my only suggestion and preference would be for tip up carry. I almost didn't buy this otherwise excellent knife because of this. I can never slip my hand into my pocket comfortably with a tip down clip. The back of the knife blade and top edge always rakes my hand. And the draw feels much less secure pinching and pulling it out. I have passed on many good knives because of this but I will try to get used to it as I like the EDC in every other way.

I can not wait to get my first EDC. It is on order with my BF teashirts. Boy I hope they get done soon, so I can get the EDC that I told them to ship with the shirts!!
 
It's as tight as can be! Blade wiggle is the ONE thing that ruins the experience of getting a new knife. I'd rather have a scratch on the handle than blade wiggle. I simply love my new EDC. In fact, I've gotta order one of the accented models too. I guess I'm hooked!
