I'm looking for a new every day carry knife.
My criteria:

Elegant (looks good next to a leather wallet)
Locking (no backlocks)
Pocket clip is option, I'll sacrifice a pocket clip for looks.
I'd like an adjustable pivot if possible
Blade size of 2+ inches.
Not much more than $100 or lower

Overall, I want a very classy locking folder that is still very utilitarian and sturdy.

Thanks for replies!

The benchmade shoki is a very elegant looking small gentleman's knife as is the benchmade 707. Spyderco sage 1 would fit as well. In terms of kershaw, I think the speedform 2 would be an excellent choice.

I dig the look of the Shoki, but it's too much for me to justify spending. And I like the sage, but it's still too tactical looking for me.

There are various companies that make knives as "gentlemans folders". I bought this CRKT knife recently for that duty:

Some others that I've seen that I liked are the Benchmade Nagara and Benchmade Emissary.

Benchmade Nagara, now under the Harley-Davidson name. You can always have the name sanded off, though :) Beautiful and great EDC otherwise.

The spyderco sage1 is the one I use when getting dress up or going out to dinner or going to church its nice and carry deep and the pocket clip looks great. Benchmade mini grip is nice if you can get over the dullness of the blade.

See if you can find a Benchmade 440. Also a Benchmade 940 looks nice too. Good Luck! I think the 440 would be what you are looking for and I am sure there are still some around. Kevin :D
