Just got this in from New Graham knives, I love it. My new EDC.

I have never owned a small Sebenza, only Larges. The small really isnt as small as i thought it would be, its very much the perfect EDC size. ;)

The Mammoth is just gorgeous on this, love the greens.

Beautiful mammoth bark with nice green color. I think the small sebenza will make a perfect every day carry for you. I have carried a large for the last two years and it is now time for me to change to the small.

That looks great. Every time I see a mammoth bark inlays they all look so different and have so much
variation. Yours with the green tint looks really fantastic.

Beautiful knife
Does the Mammoth bark need any special care when used as EDC or is it pretty much good to go?

I have some custom with Mammoth. The maker told me mammoth can swell and contract with humidity causing it to crack. Also, if dropped, it can break too. Again, that is what I was told.

That's just astonishing. You're right about the green. You're very fortunate! :)

I EDC a small LE mammoth ivory (I love how the ivory fills up the majority of the exposed surfaces on the annual LE) and it has been a joy to carry. Aside from wiping some mineral oil onto the ivory every few months, it is a wonderful inlay to own and live with requiring no extra attention or special care.

I know that a sharp, hard impact could break the ivory, and yet the inlay is no worse for wear despite having suffered a few falls on concrete/ashphalt/etc.

The small is the absolute perfect EDC size, I wish the OP a lifetime of happiness with the knife. I love the duality of having a spectacular example of modern design and manufacture combined with an inlay of ancient origins. The best of man and nature, all in the palm of your hand. Or in your pocket.

That blade is wonderful. I love the green hue on the bark that color is tough to get. Rest assured that small pieces of bark will not crack that will happen on pieces the size of 1911 grips and larger. Enjoy it

Wow, thanks for all the replies guys! Today was really a banner day, for all of you flashlight guys, I also received a few McGizmos today too, a hi CRI mule and hi CRI haiku.

Any thoughts about coating the mammoth with renwax? I'm thinking maybe it's a bad idea, due to the natural pits in the mammoth, so mineral oil it is.

Glad to here it is not a big maintenance chalenge. I just love the look of the mammoth bark and would love to get one someday.
Once again-very beautiful knife, that was a great score.

์Nice Score indeed, happy for you.
I do have 2 large 2 small annuals & 2 mnandis but they are too beauty to EDC for me.

Wow! Beautiful Sebenza, fantastic mammoth ivory. A unique EDC for sure, enjoy it!

Kind regards,

Jos
