So I am regretfully looking for another EDC knife. Why regretfully? Because I lost my Paramilitary 2. :( This was my EDC for the last several months and I thought it would be my last. That is how much I loved that knife. Well, I will eventually get another one when stock becomes available but I need an EDC now.

So I have narrowed it down to the Native 5, Sage 3 CF and Caly 3 CF. These are all 3" FFG blades (preference), around $100-125USD and is the perfect size for me in my EDC role. The 3.5" Para 2 was a bit big but I overlooked that because it was such fantastic knife. I have the Tenacious and Endura 4 G10. The Endura is too big for my EDC and the Tenacious, while a nice knife and great value, has some negatives like the steel (it's ok) and the slippery G10. I don't mind liner locks for EDC hence the Sage in the lineup but the blue Sage Bolt Action is not on the list because I want black handles.

What are the differences between them? Are these knives close in terms of thickness? The Native 5 looks to be the chunkiest in the handle followed by the Sage and then the Caly. Am I right on that? I know grip comfort is subjective so I'm not asking which is the most comfortable because many will probably chime in that each one is the most comfortable. How does it is in pocket? I like S30V and I'm sure S35VN is similar. The Caly in ZDP189 looks interesting though.

And lastly, please tell me about the Chaparral. Never heard of this one.

The Native FRN with FFG blade will be coming out and I think I'm going to get me one, will be my first Spydie purchase in quite a while. Hopefully it ends up very close to the regular Native FRN price.

Had all four (Sage 1 Carbon fiber, Caly 3 Zdp, Native 5 and Chaparral), all are great knives but I've sold all except the Sage 1
