I am currently looking for a new edc folder to replaced current knife which is just to big. I currently carry an esee izula ll. I have been very fond of the Ontario Rat 1 for a a while but am also fond of the spyderco tenacious and then cold steel recon 1. I would like to hear what everyone has to say. I have seen videos comparing the rat and tenacious but neither against the recon 1.
I want only a folder preferably below $80 I have fixed blades that are good I jut don't much for a reliable folder anymore after loosing my griptilian. I have never owned the 3 folders listed just very familiar with the rat and spydey. Was told about the recon1 and have been impressed on what I seen just looking for opinion from people who "tested" the knife. Most of the work I do is light cutting and minor wear to a knife but I do take my knives fishing/hunting but mainly are using fixed blades because in my area I can't find any good quality folders
