Was looking through my box of small fixed blades for something to EDC during the upcoming campout. I was looking for something small, thin, and razorish. Got to thinking I could get one of those 3in bladed Moras pretty fast and was gonna order one the other night but then I spotted a small scrap of 1095 in the shop
Mix in a little time, orange G10, epoxy, and SS pins and POOF!!!! New EDC
7 1/4in overall with 3 5/16in blade. When I was shaping the scales I had to pause a bit and decide whether I wanted to thin out the scales a lot for neck carry or leave em a little thick for belt carry and a better grip. Went right down the middle with some contours to the grip so I have a nice palm swell at the center pin. The tang is drilled out to drop the weight too. I am very happy with my little utility blade
