I have a Wicked Edge Pro Pack I and being off on vacation tomorrow I have decided to put a new edge on my Benchmade 950 (in CPM154) - - great knife BTW. The factory edge is actually pretty good but I'd like something much sharper. Any suggestions on on angles, primary/secondary bevels/etc. As I mentioned I want something very sharp even if it hurts edge retention some that is ok with me. I am happy to touch up the edge from time to time if that is needed. My 950 will be a medium duty knife which will be carried once or twice a week in my rotation.

I have my edge convexed around 10 deg per side. It doesn't like cardboard too much, but it doesn't chip too bad either. 154CM takes a very fine edge, very easily.

It's a great blade.

I sharpened one probably 2 years ago to put in a BOB. I basically just followed the factory angles and it has been sitting ever since. I recently got it out and it is scary sharp. It easily tree tops arm hairs of my choice. I assume I finished it on a diamond loaded strop, but it is one of the sharpest edges I have produced and I didn't even really know about it. So it can get pretty sharp even at the bigger factory angles.
