New edge on my Sebenza

Spent some time re-profiling the Sebenza tonight. I've had this Large 21 UG for over a year now, but I finally got tired of the obtuse factory edge. It was sharp, but it wasn't SHARP! If you know what I mean.

Here's the new edge. I went 20* per side, because I don't want an overly delicate edge. Of course with the hollow grind its very thin behind the edge, should be a much better slicer now. It's not a high mirror polish, I like 'em a little toothy, but man is it SHARP!

What did you use to put on the edge? Looks like you did a nice job putting the edge on nice and evenly:thumbup:

Used a Lansky. Its not the most advanced system out there, but it works.

Show the graphics, please!

OK, here's the Graphics. Ive posted it before, it's my only Sebenza. Nothing Fancy, just a simple design in silver contrast, but I love it, because it's mine.

Shown here with my 'Zaan. My entire CRK collection in one post. LOL

You've got a work knife and a dress knife, what more do you need????
Notice, I asked need, not want.
The new edge looks dangerously sharp.

LOL, yes want has everything to do with it. The Sebenza is not afraid to work either. It's been carried a lot, but not used as much, because it had a disadvantage. Hence the new edge. I wanted a user, not pocket jewelry. Now its a bit of both. I see a lot more use in its future.

nice one! One of a kind UG?
Yes, one of a kind.
