Out of the box it seems like a very sturdy knife . . . VERY STURDY INDEED !
Good lock up,
Nice thick strong liners.
No nonsense blade pivot screw.

I deployed it as if by magic using the wave.
WOW that is so cool ! ! ! !
So fast !

I took it to my tub of vegan cream cheese lid. I had been struggling for like twenty minutes and just could not pry the lid off.:(:(
The Emerson made short work of it . . .
but
the blade snapped about an inch from the tip :(

I see on the box and on the blade it says : Proudly hand made in China by Ernest Emerson himself. (it's tiny print).

Has anyone else had this experience ?
I like the knife so much I am just going to grind the tip and keep using it.
Probably just a fluke that wouldn't happen again in a million years.

Is it called the Globe because the Earth is flat and it has a chisel grind?

Ahhh, now this thread makes sense. You're a little pissed at the mod for noticing you taking a piss in a manufacturers subforum, so you start troll thread in the guise of April Fool's Day.

Some advice, either don't go into subforums if you don't like the products or if you do, provide some constructive criticism not just a snide jab.

Carl didn't give you an infraction for trolling, he simply let you know that what you said wasn't funny and to cut it out.

You posting this isn't a good idea.

Someone asked for April Fool's Threads.
I threw my back into it.
I failed you.
I need to get a better perspective on what makes up an April Fools thread. I thought this would be OK.
My apologies to said moderator (Carl).
and to all connoisseurs of April Fools threads.

If this wasn't April first, I still wouldn't be suprised by this from an Emerson.

Edit to add: I don't have nor have I ever, owned an Emerson. This is based in jest, but my personal take on the Guy stops me from buying his products.
