I received an Endeavor this week from online dealer who may or may not be a paid dealer. Out of the 7 Emersons I have owned (4-cqc7's, 1-cqc8, 1-cqc-12) this Endeavor was the sharpest out of the box I have ever seen. Looking forward to using it. Really good blade geometry and thin slicer. Gracias.

Nice!
My Hard Wear Reliant is hair popping sharp too. Made in Japan.

Just cut up a bunch of boxes. The endeavor cuts "straighter" than my other emersons although it still has a chisel edge.

The Endeavor developed severe lock stick today. I sprayed it down with wd-40 and shook out the remaining oil. Still sticky, so I took the knife apart, totally cleaned it, and put pencil lead on the face of the blade where the liner engages. Lock stick went away. I'm going to keep the lock face coated w/ graphite for a while until the endeavor breaks in. Sharpened the knife, as well. Good purchase, so far.
