Picked up a new Endura this weekend, British racing green, ZDP-189, FFG and I'm pretty impressed. I'm not convinced it's as good a slicer as my Gayle Bradley but it's darn close. I like this knife!!

Sorry about the crappy, at work so I don't have the best of setups, photos :o

Wow.. when did they make FFG ZDP enduras?
They recently replaced the saber grind with a FFG. They did it without much fanfare. Part of Spydercos continuing effort to have the best quality knives. They are going to do the same with the Delica ZDP.

Nice looing Endura. Enduras are a great knife and deal. I got mine on my pocket right now.

Are the new FFG's going to completely replace the sabre grinds?
I thought they both were going to be a part of the Spyderco lineup...I really like the sabre grind, it gives the tip alot of strength. Id hate to see it go.

I thought the FFG Delica was going to be my "Holy Grail" folder, but after getting one I think I like the Sabre grind better. The sabre is thicker, heftier, with less flex.

I do have a FFG G-10 Endura and don't find that blade to be as delicate, almost fragile, as the FFG Delica seems to be.

I'd be happy to have both grinds available because, IMHO, they are entirely different knives just because of the grinds.

Nice endura. I don't own an FFG but ordered one to see how I like it. I'll report back after it gets a good work out. :D

this is my first post in blades forums and sorry for my bad english.

thanks badhammer

actually in my country (indonesia) its little bit difficult to buy a good knife such as spyderco.

Why is that? Here in the part of the Philippines where I live, it is also a bit difficult to get knives. Luckily there is the internet. :D

I agree, I have the new Delica colored '10's and the blade does seem a bit more flimsy at the tip then I'd expect.. Just the nature of design I guess.
