Hi to everyone! This is my first post in this wonderful forum. I come from Italy (so excuse me for my poor english...) and I’m a proud owner a black Izula with Kit. I absolutely love it.

What I would really like to see is the entire ESEE line provided with kydex sheaths. In my opinion molded sheaths are to soft and prone to be scratched and cut unintentionally.

P.S. Thank you Jeff, Mike and Shon for these smart knives! Great stuff!

Appreciate the post and thanks for being here. I doubt you will see Kydex on every knife anytime soon. Some people like the molded sheaths better than Kydex, some like Kydex better than molded.

paolino250, welcome aboard. Being new here myself, I have gained some valuable insights into a lot of different subjects in the short two weeks I have been here. Don't be afraid to ask questions, all the guys & gals seem more than willing to share their knowledge & expertise.
Be safe.

Thank you guys for your prompt reply. Being a quality inspector from years let me say this is the first way to check the quality of a brand. I really appreciate.

I'm interested in knowing what are the advantages of a molded sheath over a kydex one...

Welcome to the forum brother and congrats on your new Izula! You know there's a few great kydex sheath makes in here, try looking up www.doublebarrelsheaths.com, Shotgunner makes some real great kydex sheaths for the Izula. Check him out!

Thank you 333rm!
I have seen Shotgunner's sheaths and I must to say they looks great: very simple and neat design. Very interesting!

Your English is better than most of the American members here. Especially the ones from the states of Texas and Alabama. :D

paolino, since you are in Europe, it may be of value to you that Martin Swinkels, an excellent sheath maker for both leather and kydex, lives in the netherlands.

He has made many quality sheaths for your fellow forum members and myself.

If you search him on google you can find his blog and contact info.

And +1 on your english, it is perfectly fine. Welcome to the forum!

Martin Swinkels has a great talent in leather working. Thank you wolffbite for the info!

No comments from the fellow who prefers molded sheaths over kydex?...
I think the best would be to offer both options...but I realize I'm asking too much...

Thanks guys for the welcome on the forum!
