Had a nice package arrive in the mail from Florida today. Evan had finished up the latest knives for me and as expected, he did some very nice work.

The first he used an od green composite for scale material. Inset mosaic pins on both sides. Nice brushed satin finish throughout. Incorporated a small notch to increase the ease of access to the small blade. Main blade is a clip point rather than the more common spear. The fit & finish throughout is top notch.

The second project was resurrecting an old Robeson EO I had obtained that was pretty well beat. Evan rescaled it with some nice hardwood, and for his second knife with hardwood scales, he did an amazing job on it and was even able to salvage the old shield and reset it. Cleaned and buffed it all up and made it ready to go back to work. I was truly amazed how well that old girl came out. Nice!

Sorry my pics aren't better - raining again.

All in all, I can't recommend his work enough. I'm interested to see his new projects that will be coming up.

Thanks Evan!

That wood looks great on the old Robeson, Joe. It's Jatoba a.k.a. Brazilian Cherry.

Those came out real nice. Evan is doing some nice work!

Nice knives! I was lucky enough to win a stockman that Evan had fixed up and was very impressed with his work.

Yeah that old Robeson is quite the looker with those wood scales.

I have two modded knives from Evan and am very pleased with both.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! The boys knife has an OD composite that I made at home, and the Robeson has Jatoba aka Brazillian cherry wood on it. I was really happy with how both if those came out. Thanks again everybody. Hopefully I'll be back to taking orders soon!!

Nice knives Joe. And excellent work by Evans. I love how old knives can get a new lease of life here on this forum.

Nicely done Evan! I like them both, but, I especially like the old Robeson's new lease on life!;)

Joe, can you show a picture of the 15 with the blades closed. I've been thinking about making my tcb an eo and I'm not sure how it would look with the clip blade.

Thats boys knife is spectacular. I really like the modification to the pen blade. Looks very useful.
