Ken just sent me a few pictures of a new knife he has completed for me - thought i would share these with everyone.

Ken is a true gentleman who will take the time to build exactly what you want and is a joy to work with throughout the process.

Couple of highlights of this great looking knife:
Blades sit perfectly level with one another in the closed position
Opposing nail nicks
Deep swedged blades
Modified California Clip style blade with recurve
Fluted Bolster
6 point Federal Shield
Some really nice looking Ivory

Ken just really nailed this in my opinion.

Ken - thanks again!!

I am officially jealous.

You're a lucky guy. That's so very nice. Do you know the length open and closed? Those swedges are something else.

My gosh, that is really sweet Rick. Congrats on acquiring such a beautiful Erickson.

It really is a super knife. I'm sure you and Ken had a lot of fun coming up with that one. Great work, great score.

WOW... Very Classy. I don't often think of Ivory for scales, but thats beautiful....

i seem to recall that we talked about building it to 3 5/8" closed but not sure what it is open. Bet Ken can tell us both open and closed lengths.

That is one fine looking trapper congrats to Ken and Rick on this project. Now you got the perfect tool let's go bushy tail hunting.:D

I think the Wharncliffe Trapper is one of the nicest looking and functional patterns out there. That's a beautiful example! Congratulations!:thumbup:
