Ordered an ESEE-3 yesterday to wear as my bushcraft neck knife. The deciding factors over the Izula 2 was the .125 thickness of the blade and the choil which I find very useful on any knife. I also bought a BHK Pathfinder knife which I have used a couple times to build a bow drill fire set and a spear slash digging stick. I swear this thing is like an Izula with a 5 1/2" blade and the ergos are sick to say the least. I really wish Jeff and Mike would make the Izula style knives a line all their own with all different sizes including a 4" and 6" version. The guys at Blind Horse say they cannot make this hard use roach belly style knife fast enough and I know why after using it. And an ESEE would not cost 275.00 dollars. For guys who do not like a choil on their knives this would fill that market with a proven design. I would own one just for a different flavor in my user knives.
