Just got my ESEE 4 yesterday. Holy crap this knife is unreal!!! I can't put it down. Awesome match to my Junglas. This knife is everything that everyone says and more! So my question is in attaching the Tek-Lok, I realize it only screws to one side, I used the blade edge side because it sits flatter against the sheath, if i put it on the spine side and try to install the rubber washers to fill the void between the Lok and the sheet the screws are way to short??? If you don't use the washers on that side it sits at a funny angle off the sheath. What are the washers for since if yo try to use them the provided screws are WAY to short? Thanks.

The screws that come with the Tek-Lok you mean? The shape of many knife sheaths doesn't work to well with the Tek-lok. You'll either need to attach it the one way that works or pick up some longer screws.

Pick up some longer screws Machine (Oval or Pan - bring one with you to compare) Head 8/32 in 1/2" length or so. I think the ones you have may be 1/4 or 3/8"....you might need 1/2" or 5/8"....shouldn't need 3/4" but you never know. The screws are about $.40 or so.

I picked up a ton of different screws at the local hardware store.....you can also get different spacers. I picked up some rubber spacers that weren't hard, they are soft and moldable, and used them when attaching my rc-4 to a molleback from a rc-3mil. I put them on the screws to have a little cushion between the head of the screw and the sheath. When I screwed them tight, they squished down and helped protect the sheath. They are about $.20 a pop. Email me if you need more info, I have all of the sizes I bought written down on the envelopes I put them in but they are not around me at the moment.
