Gotta say that i love the knife. One of the squad leaders in my platoon had one and was showing it off last time we were out in the field and i had to pick one up. It will be coming with me to iraq in a few weeks where im hoping it will hold up. I broke a lot of other so called strong knifes last time while searching for weapons cache's and prying open doors. But with how thick this knife is it should hold up, and with the warranty you guys have I'm sure it will hold up.

I can't wait to try this out in country, looks like you guys make a great product, thanks.

Great first post. Be sure to keep us updated on the performance of the 5.

Thanks for your service and stay safe over there. :D

If any knife is good for prying, it's the 5...keep us updated.

Got nothing to say about the 5 (don't have one) but wanted to jump in and say thanks for serving.

The RC-5 was my first Rat Cutlery (now ESEE) knife and I carry it in case I have to cut myself out of my plane. The RC-4 and RC-3 quickly followed.

They're great knives. It will serve you well. Thanks for your service sir.

Stay safe over there and thanks for your service. If you ever get the chance to post a pic of that bad boy in action I'm sure we would all love it.

nothing to add here but like what everyone else said, thank you for your service, sir

Enjoy the knife. May it serve you well as you serve your country. Thank you and Godspeed.

Not too many "5" owners...
I love mine - it was my first ESEE.
