I really like collabs like this. Who is doing the actual manufacture ESEE or KA-BAR? Who's steel and heat treat? I like all three of those and I own the Becker Necker but the handle is too short so it's my three year old daughters knife now, just her size.:D

All three look pretty cool. Still like the Izula the best. Hooked on ESEE stuff.

I do like the idea of a slightly larger Izula. I mean I do love my Izula and it has gone wherever I go since I got it. I love the handle especially for neck carry, but wouldn't mind it being a hair longer. But I really do like the Izula tip and overall blade shape, just as I love the tip and over all shape of the RC-4 and the HEST. My RAT/ESEE knives have become my go to knives for edc carry and field craft because of their awesome functionality as much as any other attribute, and there are several. I can easily see myself getting one of these..."Brats" or whatever they will be called. The steel and heat treat in the Becker knives I've used is awesome and in my opinion as good as any out there and I will even give it a fair trial as it comes...after all one never knows till they try right?...but in the end I may very well be getting it to the belt sander and "drop-pointing" the blade to just have a bigger Izula to suit my large hands :)

I have a BK11 that has been on me every day since I got it (about a month ago), and it is a great EDC utility blade. I use the stock sheath on my belt (a little too big for neck carry imo), and will be receiving a smaller aftermarket kydex sheath for stealth neck carry. Although the handle is a little small...I love having a bottle opener handy at all times!

What is the steel thickness on the BK11? It isn't listed in the specs on the Ka-Bar site, and another site I found said it is "around" 1/8.

Hey guys, keep your eyes peeled in the coming few days for a contest surrounding this little halfbreed.

I'll go get out my blades, pack and tactical speedo (hey you never know what kind of contest this will be).

Did any of you guys watch Part 1 of that camp cooking video? Ethan Becker starts reaching in every pocket and goes "Does anyone have a knife?" :D
