i don't understand why on the GPknives and Chestnut Ridge websites, the scales on the new venom green look like orange micarta insted of g10.

if you look at the ESEE 5 on the GPknives website, it has orange g10 that looks like actual g10.

is there a difference? do you think its just the lighting? if so, why do the black ESEE 5's scales look do different
then the venom green knives, and why does it look messed up on chestnut ridge's website aswell?

here are the pics i've been looking at (i hope the links work)

A photographer's opinion - it's just the difference in the lighting/angle of light in the pictures. Just G10, no micarta anywhere.

The first link does have micarta scales, look harder and you can see them.
