I'd like to get another Espada. Can you tell me are they still good or are they less quality. It's not an emergency because I have a few Mega folders and I really don't need it. But I've been thinking about putting my old one up. Thanks for any information in advance.

Still quality, because all the factory and tooling is the same. I have a fancy older one, I think, and a plain newer one (Both XLs, the only Espada worth talking about lol). The fancy one is intrinsically higher quality. The action is better, completely smooth, whereas while still good on the regular AUS10a, you can sort of feel it sliding against semi-course G10. The S35VN blade is thicker, 4mm instead of 3.7 on the regular, and the fancy one weighs a straight pound, the normal is 14.8. Fancy one is also slightly thicker to grip being framed with aluminum, too. It is really nice.

That's a very nice collection you have there. I like the Voyager tanto. That's one I still have to get

My xl Voyager Tanto gets more pocket time than any other knife I own. It really is an incredible tool. The funny thing is that I don't even really enjoy it the way I do other knives. I carry it because it does everything, generally better than the other options I own. Example, what does a Frenzy or TiLite do that the xl Tanto doesn't do better? The big Hold Out is probably a better slicer, but I would not trust it for heavy work. The Espada and Vaquero and Talwar are, for me, too wide for convenient carry if I am also carrying a gun -- and the Espada and Talwar are too expensive to abuse as a tool anyway.

Conclusion: the Tanto is good. Get one.

Yep. Your spot on. I carry my Voyager the most. I don't have a tanto .YET. I have the vaquero. Love it. I'm not much for the recurve though.

+1 for an XL Voyager Tanto, it is an amazing knife, chopped finger-sized branches and took apart a couch that I found with no trouble whatsoever. Great quality "beater" for any purpose, in the garden, at the jobsite, keeping you safe, taking things apart, in the woods... it seems quite tough, too, not going to snap on you. I was lucky to get one like new for $25.
