Started using boning and hunting knife in kitchen,theyre doing extremely well.Planing to order flexible boning knife too.

Yeah, I'm torn but excited about the Facon.
On the one hand I was planning on getting a gaucho knife from some Argentinian maker, on the other hand I trust Cold Steel to have fine knives made. It'll be a while before I pick up either so I guess I have time to mull it over!

Gaucho knives are beefed up kitchen knife variants and it makes them practical for any tasks,simple design from simple steel.Designs like this are made to perform,not to be show pieces,although they can be in some cases,same as real bowie knives.
