Anyone know where these are from and if they are from Benchmade or not?

This pic was quoted from the "What are you carring today" thread in General Knife Discussion but I wondered if anyone knew how to get these handles and if they are new with custom BM's or what? If you're confused......notice the texture under the clip. It's different.

Nothing fancy, but my griptilian made a new friend today. I love the Doug Ritter version.

It is a Cabelas exclusive David, but IIRC it is only on the tan and pink knives. Not the green and black

Yea I very briefly owned one of the tan ones, it's on the D2 Cabelas version. Personally, I hated it, it's very slippery and because the round bubble shapes are recessed inwards it traps any amount of moisture. I had it for like 2 days before I returned it and got the black handle version with the normal texture.

Honestly, avoid it. It's a really awful design and belies the name GRIPtillian about as much as possible, major miss by BKC.

Those "Snakeskin" scales are exclusive to Cabela's.
They come in sand full and mini, as well as serrated or plain, all with D2 steel.
There is also a pink mini grip, with a plain, satin, D2 blade.

Hope those scales don't wind up replacing the current/original Griptilian scales. Takes a lot of the "Grip" out of "Griptilian".

To your knowledge were any of them assisted openers?
