His names Logan, and he's a Sheltie. :) We just adopted him today.

we picked up an Aussie shepherd around this time last year and he looked a lot like that at 9 weeks.

Thanks for the pics.

We have a B&W border collie we adopted from a rescue as an adult and always wondered what he looked like as a pup, so we love collie puppy pics.
 
Thanks fellas! He is a cutie.
Right now we're concentrating on house training, but my dad wants to train him to herd.
We also got him partly to keep our other dog busy. :)
 
Here's some current pictures of Logan. He's almost 6 months old now, and about 25 pounds. Hopefully that's as big as he'll get.

Yes, he's very smart. We've taught him to sit, come, shake hands, and back up. He's mostly house trained now too, which is great. He doesn't obey every command every time. Mostly he obeys to get treats....

Some things he learns quickly, some not so quick. Shaking hands took about two tries before he had it down. House training has taken several months.

Once his hair is grown out all the way, he's going to be a really handsome dog.
