Hello everyone,

I've been lurking into RAT / ESEE forum for a while already, and now I decided to come out :D
I have two fixed knives so far, 12-years old SOG NW Ranger and a 4-inch carbon steel utility knife made by my friend.
I want to get some EDC knife, some replacement for the SOG when going outdoors, and something a little bit bigger than that. After considering a lot of options, I found that I need an Izula, RC-3 and RC-6 :cool:
I'm gonna purchase them as soon as I earn some money. After 3 months, I hope I won't be unemployed much longer yet...
 
Welcome to the forum. The Izula, 3 and 6 are a great start. You will end up getting them all! I have 2 Izula's an RC-3 and 4, and a HEST. I have been strongly looking at the 6 and have decided on the Junglas as my next ESEE knife.

It is a lifestyle! Welcome to the addiction.

I'd beg, borrow or steal to get an IZULA. Hang that baby around your neck and you will experience such Shangri La. Go for it.

Best cure for Unemployment is to buy an ESEE knife like I did. Your still unemployed but you own a ESEE knife. My logic might suck but it works for me!
 
Welcome I have been kind of a lurker too, but am now ready to be bold about it. I am trying to decide on my first purchase, and am looking forward to being one of the family
 
Good luck on getting work. I feel your pain. I was out of work for two months until recently. I had to take a part time job that doesn't pay much, but it's better than nothing. I wish you the best.

Despite liking all the ESEE knives and a bunch of others, of course, I'm quite a modest guy and still think I need only one knife of a size. But looking through the forums, there's a cure for this, I guess :D

Hi, I was RAT free for 21 days. I broke down yesterday and bought a pair of Izula scales. I admit I am a RAT/ESEE addict. I thought I could cure my knife addiction by purchasing accessories. I was wrong .......the urges didn't go away. :barf: I thought by joining the RAT Pack and sharing my addiction with others, it would help ......I was wrong. The urges didn't go away. :barf: They never ever really go away. :( My only advice is to buy one at a time. It's still not a cure, but it will ease the pain. :( Oh, and welcome to the club. :eek:
