I just got a Super tinker NIB for 2 boxes of .223 from a guy at work.
Pretty much the perfect arrangement of tools for an EDC, and not nearly as bulky as my Craftsman or Explorer plus.
Anyone else lovin the super tinker?

I carry an Alox Farmer everyday. I use the saw, the screwdrivers, and bottler opener a lot. I use the awl a little, but wouldn't miss it probably.
What tools does the super tinker have? Do you use them all pretty regular?

Yeah, I like the Super Tinker if I don't have a 58mm w/scissors on the keychain. It's probably the best deal in SAKs right now as you can get one from Walmart for $20.

Yeah! I don't carry one but I've had a Super Tinker on my dresser for about 15 years now. Anytime I need to turn a screw, cut or trim anything, it's the first thing I grab. Especially love the scissors.

The only SAK I own is an Alox Farmer.I'm gonna get my son in law a Super Tinker for his birthday this month.

Not lucky enough to own great deal of multi-tools.

Love my Huntsman II. Should be getting my classic this week :)
Also love Spirit.

Its got: Large Blade, Small Blade, Scissors, Bottle opener/Flathead, Can Opener/Small Flathead, Awl, Parcel Hook, Phillips Head, Tweezers, and Toothpick
I use All the tools pretty regularly, But mostly the Drivers, Large blade, and Scissors. Occasionally the small blade for opening mail and packages.
Never have found a use for the parcel hook though. But then again I'm not all that creative ;)
Not trying to start a "my SAK is better than yours" thread BTW.
Just stoked about my new knife and wanted to see what the SAK experts thought of this particular model :o

I like the Super Tinker. Especially for daily life in an urban environment I think it covers most tasks.

One of my very first SAKs was it's close cousin, the Climber (corkscrew not Phillips). As you say, both excellent urban EDC SAKs.

always carried an alox soldier, had three of those, and I just placed an order for a farmer, to see how that one carries :D

Yep just picked up the Super tinker about a month ago because it had all the tools I wanted and needed and I think I've used every tool on it. I need to get a lanyard for it though so it will stay upright in my pocket, cause it does get a little annoying at the bottom of the pocket.

I've been carrying an Explorer Plus every day for the past year or so, but this Super Tinker looks like a nice alternative for the days I want to switch it up a bit.
