Has anyone seen any info on the new
Ferrum Forge Knife Works Prolix Liner Lock? It really look interesting, but I can’t find anything on it.

Yeah that’s where I saw it. Just wondering if anyone had an advance copy that had been reviewed.

Looks like a wharncliffe variation of the Mini Archbishop.

Well, this was a no-brainer early Xmas present to myself! I love my Mini-Arch, the corresponding Civivi Odium and the Lackey! The Prolix has about the same dimensions as the Mini-Arch, different handle and blade shapes and a different blade steel, Nitro V Vs. 9Cr18Mo, and probably is produced by the highest quality control on a budget Chinese manufacturer right now Civivi(WE). No disparaging or negative remarks on Chinese manufacturers here, regardless of your political affiliation. lol...

I really like Nitro-V steel, and it is a great value for a budget-oriented knife. I may have to pick up one of these myself!

I think the handle shape had to be tweaked to accommodate the blade. With the Mini Archbishop, the initial release included a limited run with carbon fiber scales, but I don't recall whether they changed the steel or not on that one. 9Cr18MoV is alright on a $60 knife (what I paid for the Mini Arch), but when you start pushing toward $100, an steel upgrade is needed to remain competitive. Hell, I bought a Civivi Elementum with S35VN for $80. The Stinger uses NitroV and has received good reviews, so hopefully this one is as well-received.
