I just wanted to post some photos of a package received on Saturday morning.

I liked the green shadetree burlap so much that Andy was nice enough to make a camp knife in the same configuration. Beautiful work as always:D

The knife is the perfect size in between a 12" machete and Andy's general purpose bush blades. The spalted steel came out perfect for my preferences!

Here's some higher res photos that Andy took, hope you don't mind me using them Andy.

I can't wait to use this pair on my next camping outing. I will take some photos and do a review for you guys, thanks for looking.

Nice! That handle is super long, I like! I have always liked his Camp Knife, I am hoping to get an Arete or Kephart one of these days but money is tight.

Beautiful pair!!
That Shadetree Burlap is really growing on me.
I've always preferred his wood handles but I think
my next Fiddlebacks will be the Shadetree.

Beautiful pair, love the tapered tang and the green and orange of the handles is a great combo.

Andy has started on mine, but I don't think he has started on the matching Ladyfinger yet (maroon linen over natural canvas with a white spacer/pinstripe)

Will post pics when they arrive here in Norway.

Hi rega25,

What a wonderful pair of matter separators you have there! And the photos...WOW...thank you for sharing. Take care of them little fellows. :)

Sincerely,
Mark

I too love the shadetree burlap. Does the spalted steel get scratched or worn with batoning?

Haven't had any issues with mine. The patina will change a bit on it like on the rest of the knife, but wood isn't really abrasive so no need to worry.
