After my regular Tuesday visit of the shop today, Andy gave me a tour of the new shop and it's progress. It's located about 5 miles West of the old shop on Ga State Hwy 20. Before you ask - I asked - what's the ETA on the move? It's still unknown, but soon.

The new shop is HUGE when you compare it to what the guys are working with right now. Exciting to think about what good things are coming down the road with this growth. It's divided into 3 sections - by 2 major walls.

We entered the shop at the pedestrian door in front of the pickup truck. We'll call it Room #1

Facing into the room #1 from the pedestrian door. The divided wall is set up for grinders. Each plug is set up on a separate 30amp breaker.

Looking right into Room #3 from the doorway of Room #2. This is a small office set up in the floor plan. However, Room #3 is planned to house several cubicle dividers for office work, as well as Shipping & Glue Ups.

Coming along nicely. Congratulations to Andy and all the folk at the Forge. Thanks for the photos Bud

Great to see the progress! This is such a great upgrade for all our favorite knife makers!

Hopefully with the full face masks we won't need them. If we do we will probably need more than eye wash

That is coming along nicely. Having the electrical conduit on the out of the wall makes a lot of sense for ease of future modification(s). Having more space between machines and people will make it safer too.

Congratulations on the progress!

Phil

Very cool, congratulations Fiddleback Forge. Progress is coming along nicely and it looks like you all will have much more breathing room once everything is set up and running.

Looks good! Scary to think how much more production will be able to occur with more space!

I think that Room #3 is actually going to become the secure vault to store the massive increase in production. I think they will need to recruit M4Super90 and his arsenal to provide armed 24 hour security for the new location. :D I am excited for the whole team at Fiddleback!

I agree, looks like there lots of room for expansion and production. Good for you guys!

Yes, there is heat - at least in the office area. We can probably vent it into the other parts of the shop as it is a huge system.
