Yes I actually do make knives. This one is forged 1084, with bocote wood and 416 stainless guard and pins.Any opinion are greatly appreciated.

I wish the picture was bigger and was better lit, but from what I can see this is a very nice looking knife. Bocote can look great and on this knife it does.

Your iteration is excellent. This must qualify as one of the better do-it-all designs. Love the wood. Makes me wanna go use some myself on my next one. You've gone that one very clean and neat too. Good job Brion. Any more pictures ? I always like to gawk. Jason.

Thank you all for the kind words and sorry for the picture quality. It was a quick picture. I will get some better ones up soon. The digital camera and I are still getting to know one another. Again thanks all.

Very nice, and shows again why you so easily converted me to bocote.

Now just share other one with everyone, looks very good to me(and these two are gonan help make sure I get off my butt tomorrow and get some work done. :)

This is a 5160 bowie with blackened brass and polished accent groove on the ferrule. The handle is bloodwood. Blade length is pretty close to 9 inches with a 5 inch handle. It turned out to be a very quick knife and balances right at the guard. Again sorry for the picture quality #$#%@$! digital camera and lousy photographer. Any opinions or criticisms are welcomed.

Belly and clip, with lots of weight up front. Thats a classic. Neat and clean. You do good work. Hope to see more in the future. Jason.
